Simply Homemade Healthy Eating Guidelines

The suggested guidelines below are based upon an individual serving size of 6-10oz of a main dish. All Simply Homemade menu offerings are based upon 6 servings unless otherwise noted.

Fat- of your total daily calories, less than 30% of calories should come from fat and less than 10% of calories from saturated fat.

Cholesterol- total cholesterol should be less than 300mg/day. Suggested quantity per referenced serving- 120mg.

Sodium -total sodium should be less than 2300mg/day. Suggested quantity per referenced serving - 720mg.

Any entrees meeting these guidelines will be noted with a heart icon in the description.

    Beef Chili with a Side of Corn Muffins
    Cold winter days call for a hot bowl of chili. Heartland Meats all natural ground beef simmers on the stovetop (or all day in the crockpot for an even richer flavor) with tomatoes, beans, corn, spices, and a touch of hot sauce.

    Sticky Orange Chicken with a Side of Rice
    All natural chicken breasts are lightly breaded then pan fried and glazed with a sweet, Asian orange sauce. Serve with rice provided.

    Pork Chops with Lemon Caper Sauce and a Side of Broccoli
    All natural pork chops are coated with an Italian bread crumb mixture including parmesan cheese and spices then pan fried. Accent these chops with a flavorful sauce of low sodium chicken broth, white wine, lemon juice, lemon zest and capers. Serve with broccoli provided.

    Chicken and Swiss Stuffing Bake
    All natural chicken tenders are topped with Swiss cheese, creamy white wine sauce and stuffing then baked for an easy, all-in-one dinner. We make this meal convenient to provide your family a comfort food just right for the season.

    Southwest Pork Wraps
    Give your taste buds a kick! Shredded pork in a spicy tomato sauce with black beans and corn all wrapped up in a flour tortilla. Slow cooks in the crockpot. Dinner, that's a wrap!

    New!- Crispy Baked Fish Sticks with a Side of Peas
    These lightly coated baked fish filets are crispy and flavorful. The combination of cornflakes, lemon, dill and spices add just the right level of zing! A great new way to enjoy fish! Serve with peas and dipping sauce provided.

    Turkey Bolognese with Pasta
    Ground turkey, carrots, celery, onions, diced tomatoes, garlic and a dash of white wine simmered on the stovetop make up this flavorful and kid friendly dish. Serve it over pasta provided and watch your family gobble it up!

    Baked Chicken with Goat Cheese and a Side of Green Beans
    An appetizer inspired entree. All natural chicken tenders are covered in lightly seasoned tomato sauce and topped with crumbled goat cheese then baked until bubbly. Serve with green beans provided.

    Baked Mostaccioli
    A classic crowd pleaser. Mostaccioli noodles are blended with egg, ricotta and mozzarella cheeses, Italian spices and layered between our rich marinara sauce. An easy dish to pop in the oven and enjoy!

    BBQ Meatloaf with a Side of Mashed Potatoes
    A traditional meatloaf with a bit of a twist. Made with all natural Heartland Meats ground beef. Smothered in rich BBQ sauce, this meatloaf bakes up moist and saucy. Serve with mashed potatoes provided.

    Sesame and Mustard Shrimp with Rice
    An elegant stovetop entree that makes a great presentation for company. Generous sized shrimp are sautéed on the stovetop and then topped with a sauce infused with garlic, lemon, Dijon Mustard and sesame oil. Serve with white or brown rice provided.

    Chicken Noodle Sauté
    We transformed our famous chicken noodle soup into a delicious stovetop dinner that cooks in no time. All natural chicken tenders simmer on the stovetop along with celery, carrots, parsley, marjoram, chicken broth and of course, egg noodles. This low-fat, family-friendly dish will soon be a favorite in your house.

    Pork Medallions with Polenta
    Medallions of all natural, pork tenderloin are sautéed on the stovetop in a savory balsamic sauce and served with a side creamy polenta accented with Neufchatel cheese and a hint of parmesan.
